Background

Dr/Bishop CE Mahlakgane & Pastor Mmabakwena Mahlakgane have been in the ministry for 40 years to date. They established a church in Bochum, Limpopo province in 1982/3 and subsequently planted four supporting churches. In October 1987 they moved to Zebediela , Limpopo Province. In 1990 they started an international Evangelistic Ministry called New Life Ministries as an interdenominational outreach organization which became a cornerstone for supporting thousands of churches around the globe;

They have conducted mass crusades in tents, open spaces, halls which led to the planting of 198 churches in seven provinces of South Africa. They have done crusades in the Southern Africa including Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and the kingdom of Eswatini. Itinerant preaching and church planting has been one of the core mandates of their ministry.

After years of ministry and hearing from God they launched FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER CATHEDRAL (FWCC) currently stationed in Mokopane (Limpopo) and with branches increasing throughout South Africa.

The couple has been married for 36 years and are blessed with four children. They have celebrated 40 years of full time ministry in 2019. The couple conducts marriage counselling ,marriage seminars and mentoring. In 2012, they organized the New Life Family Network of Pastors and are mentoring at least 158. The Network is operates in Limpopo, North West, Gauteng And Mpumalanga provinces of South Africa.This network is envisaged to grow into Southern African countries

Vision
Our vision is kingdom building through a strong network of mature family life churches, proclaiming the gospel in South Africa and in the world, training the disciples, equipping and reproducing leaders.( Mat 28:18-20; Eph 4:7-11)

Mission
Our mission is to proclaim the kingdom of God by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy spirit, to disciple, equip, train, ordain and release believers into ministry. To promote the fellowship of believers and network of ministries to grow the body of Jesus Christ in unity. Our obligation is to obey the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ. Or
Our obligations are to obey the great commission and love commandment (Mat 28:18-20, John 13:34,35)

 Purpose
Our purpose is to play an important and influential role in the building of the nation. It is our purpose to be relevant in the time we live in and to make a constructive contribution in our town, city, Province and Nation this done by having a strong healthy family church.
