PROV 22:4. “By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life.”
Proverbs 22:4 NKJV.
“True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life.”

“The reward of humility [that is, having a realistic view of one’s importance] and the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the LORD Is riches, honor, and life.”

God is our rewarder and He does not FAVOUR any individuals but bless all that seeks Him and walk in His divine principals, from the beginning of time God despise the pride, but He love the humble and raise them up. The Bible speak about Abram in Gen 17: God said to Abram, I am your reward, God's reward is with him to bless and reward those who seek Him with all of their hearts.
Moses was the most humbled man on all the face of the earth and God rewarded him with honor, Richie's and long life.
LET US LOOK AT THIS PRINCIPALS.
1. HUMILITY OR HUMBLENESS.
God reward the humble, people with a humble attitude and life style, people who do not look down on other people and consider themselves more supiria than others, when God said we must rule and dominate He did NOT refer that we must rule and dominate over other human beings but over all the works of His hand and creation, it is evil before God that the rich must rule over the poor, PROV 22:7,16,22-23.“The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.
He who oppresses the poor to make more for himself Or who gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.
Do not rob the poor because he is poor, Or crush the afflicted at the gate; For the LORD will plead their case And take the life of those who rob them.”
PROVERBS 22:7, 16, 22-23 NASB..
JAMES 4:6-10. “But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, mirth to dejection and heartfelt shame [for your sins]. Humble yourselves [feeling very insignificant] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up and make your lives significant].”James 4:6-10 AMPC.
God will always give grace to the humble heart, to people who are willing to serve God from a humble attitude, humility will help you to resist the evil and the devil and God gives you grace.
James 4:9,10. “Be miserable and grieve and weep [over your sin]. Let your [foolish] laughter be turned to mourning and your [reckless] joy to gloom. Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose].”
JAMES 4:9-10 AMP
“Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”

2. THE FEAR OF GOD OR TO REVERENT GOD.
To be truthful and honorable before God as you worship, praise and worship Him, to have a sense of God looking on you and been surrounded by His presence, to have a clean and pure conscious as you daily serve and live before Him every day, the PROV.4:7-9. “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.””Proverbs 4:7-9 NKJV The fear of the Lord God is the beginning of wisdom, fear and honor the Lord with all of your heart. Pro.8:11-13. “For wisdom is better than rubies, And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.”Proverbs 8:11-13 NKJV.
PROV. 9:10-12““The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you will bear it alone.””Proverbs 9:10-12 NKJV.
THE REWARD FROM GOD.
RICHES, HONOR AND LONG LIFE AND WEALTH.
Good things come to those who waits, to those who fear God and to those who are humbled, let remember that God heat the proud and self important people and humbles the proud and the arrogance, those who are stubborn and refuse to repent, God will judge those who of us do not want to fear Him and be humble before Him.
