“One day Moses was taking care of Jethro’s flock. (Jethro was the priest of Midian and also Moses’ father-in-law.) When Moses led the flock to the west side of the desert, he came to Sinai, the mountain of God. There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire coming out of a bush. Moses saw that the bush was on fire, but it was not burning up. So he said, “I will go closer to this strange thing. How can a bush continue burning without burning up?” When the LORD saw Moses was coming to look at the bush, God called to him from the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” Then God said, “Do not come any closer. Take off your sandals, because you are standing on holy ground. I am the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses covered his face because he was afraid to look at God.”Exodus 3:1-6 NCV.

JESUS CHRIST SAID TWO THINGS ABOUT GREATNESS.( HOW DO WE DEFINE GREATNESS AND HOW WE LOOK AT GREATNESS.??)
““The people should not think that small beginnings are unimportant. They will be happy when they see Zerubbabel with tools, building the Temple. “(These are the seven eyes of the LORD, which look back and forth across the earth.)””

(@) If you have faith as small as a mastered seed, you can say to this mountain move from here and go throw yourself in the seed and if you do not doubt it shall obey you, not a great faith, many times we pray for great faith, because we think great things are moved by great faith, but the very little faith as small as a mastered seed that is all we need, then the disciples prayed and said LORD INCREASE OUR FAITH.
Matthew 17:20-21. He replied, Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain move from here to there and it shall move, Nothing will be impossible for you.(THE FULL LIFE STADY BIBLE).
“So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20.““Because you’re not yet taking God seriously,” said Jesus. “The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn’t be able to tackle.””Matthew 17:20 MSG
(@) If any one want to be great he must be a servant of them all, He took the little boy and put him on His lap and said if you want to be great start small and the will of God will define your true greatness, the smallest things that we despise are the things that define our greatness. Mark 9:33-37. “Jesus and his followers went to Capernaum. When they went into a house there, he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?” But the followers did not answer, because their argument on the road was about which one of them was the greatest. Jesus sat down and called the twelve apostles to him. He said, “Whoever wants to be the most important must be last of all and servant of all.” Then Jesus took a small child and had him stand among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said, “Whoever accepts a child like this in my name accepts me. And whoever accepts me accepts the One who sent me.””Mark 9:33-37 NCV.
THE PLACE OF ENCOUNTER WITH GOD.( BEFORE YOU BECOME GREAT YOU MUST COME TO PLACE OF AN ENCOUNTER WITH GOD.)
1. THE BACK SIDE OF THE DERSET(Wilderness)the place of loneliness, a place isolation, the place of facing your true life.
2. THE MOUNTAIN OF GOD, The symbol of a life of prayer, a place of seeking intimate with God, Jesus Christ often went to this mountain to pray.
3. THE BUSH THAT WAS BURNING BUT NOT CONSUMED, There is a bush in every one of us, it is in that bush of your life where God reveals Himself as God of your life, every area in ourselves that looks to be more dangerous such as sickness, failure, pain,losses,and many other areas of our life's God is about to show up Himself.

Who can ever think or imagine the great man MOSES was a shepherd of the flocks of his father in-law, the work that he was doing with honesty and loyalty, that why God could intrust him with the deliverance of His people, the law of upgrade is the law of begging small and be loyal to what you have been in trusted in. This also include David who was just a shepherd but God in trusted him with best of His kingdom, this is the man who wrote the psalms in our Bible. The less you are before people the greater you are before God. It was in the wilderness when David experience the salvation of God when He killed a lion and bear, it was in the wilderness where David gathered a testimony, he nerve knew that one of the days he will confronted with the giant save God's people from all heir enemies.
1SAM 16:11-13. “And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.” So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!” Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. THE EYES OF THE LORD GOD IS LOOKING ON EVERYONE OF US IN WHATEVER WE ARE DOING. 2CHR 16:9. “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.””
II Chronicles 16:9 NKJV. We are called to remain faithful in what God has given to us, to much is given much will be required, remember that whatever your u are going the eyes of the LORD GID is watching and He is the one who will reward you and promote you to next level of your life. What so ever we do in secret or in public the eyes of the LORD YOUR GOD is looking, MATTHEW 25:14-25. ““For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. STARTING WITH YOUR LIFE, How you contact yourself in life and how you serve God in small things that you are In Trusted with. Been a shepherd it looks like a low class of work or responsibility, however in the side of God is the highest call. Live your life to glorify God and please Him for He is the one who gave you this gift of life. ROM 12:1-3. “So then, my brothers and sisters, because of God's great mercy to us I appeal to you: offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer. Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God — what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect. And because of God's gracious gift to me I say to every one of you: do not think of yourself more highly than you should. Instead, be modest in your thinking, and judge yourself according to the amount of faith that God has given you.”Romans 12:1-3 GNB.
STARTING WITH YOUR WORK, If you do not treat your work with great honesty and accountability, you are demoting yourself. Many people cry for a promotion at work but they can not be trusted with the little that they have been in trusted with. Some they pray and wish to have a successful business but failing to be trusted with what you working at now..PHI.2:14-16. “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.”Philippians 2:14-16 NKJV.
EPH.6:5-8. “Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.”Ephesians 6:5-8 NKJV
EPH 6:5-8. “Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling; and do it with a sincere heart, as though you were serving Christ. Do this not only when they are watching you, because you want to gain their approval; but with all your heart do what God wants, as slaves of Christ. Do your work as slaves cheerfully, as though you served the Lord, and not merely human beings. Remember that the Lord will reward everyone, whether slave or free, for the good work they do.”

HOW YOU MANAGE YOUR RESOURCES, BUSINESS AND FINANCES.. The big question is can God count you faithful? Can God count you worthy of His own treasure? Many time we spent a lot of time complaining about what we have now, we always say it is very little and we want more but we can not account on what we have now, how can God trust you with more when you are failing to safe and account on what you have, the very little that God gave to us is enough to take us to greater levels.
MOSES AT THE BACKSIDE OF THE WILDERNESS.
The backside of the wilderness was a lonely and risky place to be or to live in. Moses was not enjoying any fellowship with other people or have time to relate with anyone but he was away from people so that God can have time with him. We have so much time for everything and everyone but we do not have time for God, God is calling and looking for us but we are never available for Him.
THEN GREATNESS CAME TO HIM.
(1.) The greatness of Moses came about firstly having a vision, he saw a bush that was on fire but not burning out, indeed it was a strange thing to see or look at but in the middle of many question God spoke and called to Moses.
(2.) The second thing it was Moses the servant, he knew how to serve his father in law and that how greatness came to his life, there is no greatness that can come to any one until you know how to serve, get yourself to serve.
(3.) The third thing is that Moses was faithful and loyal to his assignment, there is no one who can be elevated to greatness until you know how to be loyal and be faithful to the little that you have been in trusted with.
(4.) The fourth thing is that Moses went up to the mountain of God, through out all the life of Jesus Christ we learn how He constantly went up to the mountain of God to pray alone, a prayer life of a Christian will determine your greatness, prayer should be a life style and not an option , is not optional, but a life style
